Simple, safe, high-performance spray impregnation for softshell clothing.
Nikwax SoftShell Proof Spray-On was developed and optimized specifically for softshell clothing. It leaves a flexible waterproof treatment on the individual fibers, allowing evaporating moisture to escape and maintaining breathability.
Spray application allows direct treatment of areas that require it most (e.g. seams on jackets) and does not compromise the properties of the internal absorbent liners.
Application instructions
For best results, remove all non-washable items and wash in Nikwax® TechWash® on a separate wash cycle prior to waterproofing. It is not necessary to dry the clothes beforehand. Shake well before use. Pay attention to the symbols on the product.
Use:
1. Secure the work surface and place clean, damp, taut clothing on it.
2. Hold the container approximately 15 cm away from the garment to be treated.
3. Apply evenly to the outside of the material.
4. Wait 2 minutes. Rub excess material well, especially on patterned materials.
5. Make sure you have not left any marks on the treated garment.
Dry:
Allow to hang freely (after a few minutes, check and remove excess waterproofing with a clean damp cloth) or, if the label allows, tumble dry at low temperature.
Required quantity:
The content of 300 ml is sufficient to impregnate 1-2 pieces of clothing, depending on the condition of the treated clothing.
Ensures long-lasting water resistance, restores breathability - in the washing machine.
The product is easy and quick to use in the washing machine and its excellent treatment with permanent water resistance is generated during air drying. Thanks to the use in the washing machine, the entire garment is treated, including seams, ribbons and cords and of course the fabric itself. Since there is no need to dry clothes, this saves energy and protects more delicate older clothes from heat exposure. The Nikwax SoftShell Proof Wash-In was developed and optimized specifically for softshell clothing. It leaves a flexible waterproof treatment on the individual fibers, allowing evaporating moisture to escape and maintaining breathability.

For best results, first wash the garment in Tech Wash on a separate wash cycle.
Shake well before use.
Machine wash:
1. Remove all detergent deposits from the dispenser container.
2. Place a maximum of 2 clean items of clothing in the washing machine.
3. Apply 2 full caps (100ml) of product to each individual item of clothing.
4. Set the program at the temperature according to the instructions on the product label for synthetic textiles at low speed.
Hand wash (use gloves):
1. Submerge clean clothing in a sink or sink with lukewarm water.
2. Apply 2 full caps (100ml) of product to each individual item of clothing.
3. Mix well, rinse clothes. Allow the garment to soak for 5-10 minutes and then rinse thoroughly again.
4. Rinse in cold water until the water is completely clean.
Dry:
Dry according to the instructions on the product label for clothing care information.
