Nikwax products are EASY to use. The waterproofing goes exactly where it is needed, so less product is wasted and money is saved. With Nikwax you can waterproof your clothes in the washing machine, hand wash or use one of our pump sprays.


Woolen laundry


Gentle detergent for products made of wool and wool blends. Wool Wash cleans, softens, refreshes, accelerates drying and improves the cooling efficiency of wool underlays.
Nikwax Wool Wash is easy to use as it is used for washing and additional care at the same time. The detergent improves/restores the absorbency of the wool base while increasing breathability. The fabric can better distribute moisture over a larger area, dries faster and gives you more comfort in all conditions.
The product also restores the freshness of the wool base layer by removing it from the odor and preventing further accumulation during use. It also ensures the softness of the wool bases.
Nikwax Wool Wash is more effective than housework and fabric softener because it improves water absorption, speeds drying, removes accumulated odors and prevents further accumulation.


Instructions for use


Apply undiluted wool wash to dry old stains before washing. Remove all non-washable items. Follow the instructions on the clothing label. Do not use fabric softener. Do not use on waterproof clothing.
Machine wash:
1. Place the garment(s) in the washing machine.
2. Add 1 full cap (50 ml).
3. Wash according to the instructions on the garment label.
Hand wash (use gloves):
1. Place clothing(s) in warm water in a sink or other container.
2. Add half a cap (25 ml).
3. Rinse the cap after use.
4. Rinse three times in clean water.
Dry:
Air dry or tumble dry on low heat if garment label directions allow.
(Tumble drying may cause the wool to curdle or felt.)
A 300 ml bottle is enough for 6 washes of 10 items of clothing.
