Quality / function

With the Animal Paw Aluminet Original 80% you have heat protection at the highest level! You can get the nets from us in various widths and lengths as desired (almost anything is possible, including custom-made products that are not listed). Please contact us.
The shadow net offers 80% shadow rate. It reflects the sun and keeps heat away. Heat build-up is prevented by the wind permeability of the material. This makes the summer heat more bearable for your dog. However, an Aluminet does not replace the supervision of dogs in the car when it is hot!

Dimensions

Roll widths - recommendations:

• 3.20m: Deep cars/station wagons
• 3.50m: Medium height SUVs (e.g. Dacia Duster)
• 3.80m: Tall SUVs and buses
• 7.60m: XXL nets for covering dog runs, seats, etc. (available from the desired length of 6m, if you would like a deeper desired length, please contact us)

Info on using the very small desired lengths:

• Lengths 1.5-2.2m are suitable for dog crate covers
• Lengths from 3m are suitable for vehicle covers (more on this in the next point)

How to measure? / E.g. car types

The windshield should definitely be covered, so start measuring on the hood (approx. 20cm below the windshield). Then up over the windshield, over the roof of the car, over the open tailgate and back down to bumper height (so the dogs have enough privacy)
If you also want the hood covered, measure it too ;) However, the hood doesn't necessarily have to be covered.
A few car brand examples (Important: When used with the tailgate open and without a complete hood cover):
Skoda Octavia, Volvo, other longer station wagons: 5-5.5m (roll width 3.2 would be enough, if you want a wider width of 3.50m
Dacia Duster: 5m (roll width 3.5m)
Rexton: 5.5m (roll width 3.5-3.8m)
Nissan X-Trail: 5.5m (roll width 3.5-3.8m)
Mercedes V-Klass Compact / Vito: 6m x 3.8m (photo in the gallery)
Mercedes Vito long: 7m x 3.8m (in the gallery is the short Mercedes bus, which is about 56cm shorter than the long Vito)
Motorhome: 8m x 3.8m

The tape is gray in color, robust and beautifully crafted.

Accessories/Other

The Aluminet 80% has a very high quality knitting pattern with a very fine structure. Our nets also have no eyelets to protect against scratches on the car.
We offer the following accessories for fastening:

• Magnets with clamping spring (we have installed our own reinforced magnets)
• Extra strong magnets with bone carabiner (screw serves as a handle, strongest magnet version!)
• Clamps (for narrow places)
