The pull point on the Faster harness
The pull point describes the surface of the harness that rests on the dog and is subject to tension. Whenever the pull of the joring leash runs diagonally upwards from the dog's back to the fixation point, as is the case with canicross, bikejoring, skijoring and in front of the dog scooter, the harness lifts off the dog's back.
There is no support on the dog's back, no matter how many belts and straps hold the harness together.
What is crucial is the contact surface on the pulling harness that is subjected to tension. Here you have to imagine the extension of the joring line onto the harness. The contact surface is then: over the shoulder to the side of the neck, front chest and lower line.
On our Faster pulling harness we have managed to convert the so-called “pulling point” into a large “pulling support”.
The back freedom of the Faster harness allows for unhindered natural movement in front of the sled or training cart:
If the dogs run in front of the sled or training cart, the pull line runs parallel or downwards. Here too, the quasi “backless” cut of the Faster tableware stands out. In its natural movement at speed, the dog can arch its back unhindered and then rush forward in a long stretch.
The correct length of the Faster harness ends at the base of the rod. The fit must be checked under tension.
Material/dish structure
The Faster harness is made of easy-care, water-resistant three-layer fabric with interior padding. The edge finishes are gentle on the skin and fur. This ensures that no chafing occurs even when the dog works long, intensively and hard with this harness. Thanks to the ergonomic cut of the FASTER pulling harness, we can do without the usual X-belt on the back. Thanks to the now "free" back, the dog can carry out its natural movement sequence at speed (wave-like back movement) without any impairment.
