The Safe Collar has an integrated elastic band, which allows the dog to slip out of the collar independently if it gets stuck with it. This can occur with free-roaming dogs, which are used for hunting or rescue missions, for example, or with young dogs playing.
When the dog is on a leash, the Safe Collar works like a normal collar thanks to its two D-rings.
