Search dog harness - Annyx

The padded (fully lined) search dog harness has, in addition to the Protect equipment, an integrated identification blanket with the reflective transfer film (classy silver writing) “Search Dog”.
It is individually adjustable in the neck and chest area and two buckles ensure easy entry.
The harness is constructed in such a way that it ergonomically adapts to the dog's body structure, resulting in optimal tension distribution that protects your dog's back.
The prerequisite for this is that the leash is only hooked to the leash ring provided.
We generally advise against hooking the carabiner on the leash to one of the other front rings, as the harness will warp and the webbing will be subject to increased wear.
Thanks to the long underbust bar, the all-round straps in the chest area create a movement-friendly distance from the front legs, so that the armpits are protected. In the smallest setting, the webbing is completely padded with air-permeable foam and this in turn is bordered with a highly abrasion-resistant material.
Care instructions
We recommend machine washing at 30°C on a gentle cycle, low spin speeds (800 revolutions), low drum load, no fabric softener, a laundry bag and no tumble dryer.
Please do not put the dishes on the heater to dry!

STFI
The Annyx harnesses have been tested several times by the Saxon Textile Research Institute (STFI). The STFI is a non-profit research institution that tests classic textile technologies as well as innovative, unconventional solutions for a wide range of applications on an international level.
For abdominal, neck and back belts, the first step was to test the tensile strength of a harness when new and, in the second step, the tensile strength of a harness after 6 months of practical testing and after 4 washes. Maximum tensile forces between 1500 (153 kg) and 3000 (305 kg) Newton were used.
The harnesses can withstand a pulling force of at least 1500 Newtons (153 kg).

Example:
If an imaginary dog ​​weighing 90kg could accelerate to 40 km/h within 1 second, it would develop a force of 990 Newtons...!
Although the load limits for used harnesses are reduced, they are still far above the strength that a dog could develop independently within the radius of a leash or towline.
